What you’ll be doing
• Process operational material requisitions within required time frame and check order confirmations
• Create Purchase Orders on internal procurement system (Sage)
• Procure materials off Framework Agreements. i.e.: client, group supply or site specific
• Regular communication with suppliers, building good relationships to obtain best price and good delivery service. Also gain good quality product knowledge for the business needs.
• Assist with the clearing of invoice queries and in the preparation of quote requests
• Monitoring and maintain the supply chain preferred suppliers register, identifying appropriate suppliers and ensuring that all the suppliers have blu-3 current t&cs.
• Monitoring the performance of suppliers, ensuring contract terms are monitored and performance is communicated as necessary to ensure continued or improved satisfactory performance levels are achieved
• Responsible for ensuring stock control of company PPE and adequate stock is maintained Update Quotations on Tender Enquiry Schedules on SharePoint.
• Send out and collate feedback of Supplier reviews. Put information into Supplier Performance Evaluation folder on SharePoint. Feed information back to Suppliers for comment and monitor performance.
• Create Procurement Schedules for ALL jobs with contract value of £100K + and update when Purchase orders placed. Put information on SharePoint.
• Maintain customer price lists and Framework agreements on SharePoint
• Maintain Rebate details and update receipt and input onto SharePoint
• Send out weekly Purchase Order Report to designated list
• Any other reasonable requirements by management

What we’re looking for
• Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office suite
• Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with pass qualifications in both Maths and English
• Strong concern for order and quality with robust attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work in a busy environment
