I officially joined blu-3 in 2017. I started out my time as an assistant site manager progressing into the role of site manager and eventually on to my current role as project manager. Since joining blu-3, I have been offered full continued support with my personal development, whenever I have requested it and have now completed 2 qualifications: An HNC in Construction and the Built Environment and a Level 4 NVC in Project Management. It is clear to me that blu-3 is heavily invested and committed to the development of its employees. Along my journey, I have seen a number of colleagues promoted from within in a similar way that I have. In addition to this, the company has a fantastic apprenticeship programme so there is always an opportunity to learn and further your skillset. Without the continued support of my colleagues and mentors I do not feel that I would have progressed at this pace. blu-3 is the ideal environment for nurturing talent and enabling people to get the best out of themselves. I began my career with blu-3 in 2019 as a Recruitment Apprentice. I am now a Trainee HR Business Partner, which is all down to the support blu-3 has given me via training and development courses, expanding my knowledge and progressing my career. I have completed several training and development courses during my time here, including a Level 3 NVQ and a CIPD Level 5 course. blu-3 is invested in its colleagues’ development. Everyone can undertake classroom and online training, not only for the mandatory requirements but also for the developmental areas they would like to progress within. I can always speak with my team about areas where I think I could/want to develop and have always been provided with the relevant training to do this. My training has been a vital area that has allowed me to progress at blu-3. Throughout my apprenticeship, I was not only able to gain knowledge but also necessary experience within the business.
