Great people make great business and here at blu-3 we want to be an employer of choice. We want to employ the best, be the very best and deliver excellence at all times.
Following the increase in 4D Planning activities, we have identified an opportunity for a 4D Planner to join our technical team, supporting a diverse range of projects across Europe. This role has been created in response to growing project demands and presents an exciting opportunity to further develop and expand our 4D Planning service offering.
What you’ll be doing
The 4D Planner is responsible for integrating traditional project planning with 4D simulation techniques, combining time-based scheduling with 3D modelling to enhance project visualization, communication, and execution. This role supports both pre-construction and construction phases by producing detailed, dynamic programmes for tenders and live projects. The 4D Planner will work closely with project teams, clients, and contractors across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear visual narratives that support decision-making.
KEY ROLE DELIVERABLES:
- Develop high-quality 4D integrated project schedules that merge conventional planning with 3D visualization.
- Produce detailed programmes for both tender submissions and live project execution, covering pre-construction through to construction phases.
- Monitor project progress using 4D simulation tools and traditional scheduling methods, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including design, engineering, and on-site personnel—to capture all project elements and ensure schedules are fully integrated.
- Generate dynamic dashboards and regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, clearly outlining project status, risks, and forecasts.
- Prepare detailed resource allocation plans and assess the impact of work scope changes on the project timeline.
- Supporting narratives and visualizations to communicate impacts effectively.
- Ensure that all planning activities are aligned with the company’s core values and project delivery standards.
